Société Mondiale du Vin is the wine affiliate organization of the Confrèrie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs whose focus is the appreciation of wine and crafted beverages. The Société Mondiale du Vin encourages the collection and dissemination of information on wines and quality spirits as well as enjoyment, understanding and procurement of fine beverages.

Société Mondiale du Vin provides a means for a mutual sharing among those who appreciate fine beverages as part of the Chaîne dining experience as well as those professionals who are beverage oriented.

The membership of Société Mondiale du Vin is comprised of Chaîne members who are professionally involved in the wine and spirit industry or are amateur connoisseurs with special knowledge or interest in wine and crafted beverages, and who are dedicated to promoting the education and enjoyment of them as a vital part of the dining experience.

The Chicago Chapter has an Société Mondiale du Vin section, under the responsibility of the Vice-Echanson Société Mondiale du Vin, which organizes special wine dinners and tastings during the year. The Chicago and Moraine Valley Chapters have merged their Société Mondiale du Vin sections into one group. Separate annual dues are payable and two to four events are held annually.
