Elegant Casual with Decorations

Please join us for an informal evening cruising on the Chicago River, Lake Michigan and dining on the lake front bringing the 2011-2012 Chicago Chaîne season to an end until September. We will be aboard the brand new “Chicago’s Leading Lady,” whose maiden voyage was in July 2011. We will have exclusive occupancy of this vessel.  It is the largest of the fleet which gives us the opportunity to bring guests.

The cruise will showcase Chicago’s world—‐renowned city architecture. Later in the evening we will leave the river and go through the Chicago controlling locks, and enter the lake, where the Magnificent sight of the Chicago skyline will come into view, with the sun setting behind the city at 8:30pm.

Entertaining Company–who is partnered with the cruise ship–will be preparing some elegant hors d’oeuvres and small plates.  Caviste/Vice Echanson Mon Roldan will be organizing a series of end of case wines and interesting bottles from which to make personal selections.

The weather will surely be spectacular.  All previous Chaîne cruises so far have had wonderful evening weather and we see no reason why this should be different!  Come join us for this fun and casual event and take advantage of the three hours to circulate and talk to fellow members. This is a very large boat and there is plenty of comfortable seating on the lower deck in the case of bad weather.
